Shoe Sunday – Skechers Memory Foam

memory2

This is my go-to pair of shoes for running errands when errands are going to take time and I need something super comfortable. They have a memory foam sole which is like walking on a fluffy cloud that does not move under your feet – like a real cloud probably would.

I like that they do not have actual laces, but the elastic used in place of laces does keep these firmly attached to your feet. I also love the rainbow coloured elastic they have used.

These shoes were purchased during the Waikele shopping stop on our 2013 Hawaii trip, along with the Adidas Climacool posted about previously, and several other pairs of shoes. I went to the Skechers clearance outlet with very high expectations because I had previously enjoyed 2 pairs of the exact same shoes from there. Alas, those shoes were discontinued and I was not to have a third pair..

You can see the rainbow Skechers in amongst the other pairs I bought at Waikele.

  1. Walking on fluffy clouds sounds amazing, I wish I had some shoes which were that comfortable. I adore the rainbow laces and the colour details in those shoes…also I had no idea Kate Spade bags were in Costco.

    • Skechers have an outlet at Homebush DFO which is near to Costco and I saw the memory foam range there – it might be worth checking out if you really want a pair of comfy shoes. :) They are nowhere near as cheap as you would get them for in the US, though, even at the outlet store.

Rivers also have a range they call the barefoot range which I have found to be pretty comfortable, plus they pack really well for travelling. :)

I took a pic of some of the hand bags last trip and put it in this post – http://www.snoskred.org/2014/09/costco-part-one.html – I don’t know how often they change the range or how long they are there for, or how old the bags may be as far as last season or something like that. :) But if you are going to buy one it may well be worth visiting and having a look, especially if you are a member already and you’ve done your price research which I know you will do. :)
