NaBloPoMo Commenting Challenge.

I am having an absolute ball here, you guys. There’s so many great blogs out there. Almost every one I read I am touched by in some way. And finding something to comment on with every blog I visit actually helps find that connection.

Sephy will tell you, he used to not feel comfortable commenting on blogs. I talked him into trying this, challenged him really. Now he’s setting himself goals of reading so many blogs a day and commenting on all that he can, and he’s enjoying it as much as I am, I can tell.

Thank you NaBloPoMo bloggers, for signing up, and blogging. And thanks to all my usual read bloggers, who inspire me regularly. You make me laugh, you make me cry, and you’ve snuck your way into my life somehow. I hope this post inspires you to comment on the blogs you read in future. It’s like blogging every day – once it becomes a habit, you just do it automatically.

The only problem is, I have bookmarked so many blogs to go back to, when I get around to putting them in the sidebar it’s going to be 10 times bigger than it is now.. ;) I started at the bottom of the alphabet, and Sephy started at the top, by the way.

  1. You’re idea of leaving comments is wonderful. Perhaps by writing this entry today, you will animate others to do so as well. I was fortunate enough to receive one of your pleasant comments and it picked up my spirits considerably. My grey November rainy, blustery blahs just disappeared! It’s funny how a considered comment, whether in agreement or not, acts as a form of acknowledgement.

  2. I’m trying to do the same – commenting on as many as I can. I used to feel like nobody would want to hear the lame things I’d leave as comments, but I really love having people comment on my blogs. So here ya go!

  3. I think that reading all the blogs that are there is a harder task than actually writing once per day, so I take my hat off to you!

And how sad for the ‘roos. Sigh.

My mum and I do a great Garrett dance. Hee.

  4. hey,
I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for commenting on my blog. :) You’re also making me want to be more industrious (but wah. This posting every day is HARD. and lots that I am ALREADY reading is doing the same. I am suffering from BLOG OVERDOSE.

[suck it up, RP]) and try and read some more blogs. I’ll probably start with yours… just as soon as I’m not at work, and have time for more than just a drive by commenting.

    Have a great one!

  5. Hey thanks for commenting on my blog as well. Nablopomo has helped me venture out of my little circle to read blogs from other countries like Australia. I love it.

  6. Well, you are doing a mighty job keeping up with so many and doing the rounds of commenting on so many blogs – how do you do it? I am having enough trouble keeping up with the blog entries, let alone the reading and the comments I’d like to make on the ones I read!!

  7. I love the whole experience as well. I’ve bookmarked a lot of blogs I haven’t even commented on yet, but I left 2 or 3 comments today. I’ve only reached ‘D’ on Fussy’s list, but hopefully there is no rush.

  8. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m enjoying yours and now must check out your flickr.
I have also been touched by so many blogs and find the whole experience enriching.

  9. Thank you for stopping by mine as well. I’ve added a lot of blogs I’ve found through the randomizer to my rss reader and have found that reading all of them is taking the time I could be commenting. Good on you for setting out on this comment challenge.

I loved your Aussie Music 101 list — do you think there would be room for some Rose Tattoo in there, possibly Bad Boy For Love or We Can’t Be Beaten?

  10. Wow – that’s an impressive goal. Especially on top of the NaBloPoMo postings. Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my site. I’m glad I dropped by here. P.s. Lunch – I want to see your lunch!

  11. I read your zoo story and cried. (sniff sniff) What a way to end this long day. Thanks so much for coming by my blog. I wish more people would read the Nano blogs. I’ve been using the randomizer to visit as many blogs as possible. I think I’ve gotten to around 500-600 so far. Its been such fun.
    Stop by anytime.
    Kay
