  1. Hi, I’m Sue, I’m from the mid north NSW coast (previously from Sydney and before that, Perth). I honestly don’t remember how long I’ve been reading your blog or how I found it. I don’t have a blog but I have a public Instagram account – user name is Essemgee99. I enjoy reading your posts about food, shopping, kitties, chickens and day trips – pretty much everything really!

  2. Hello there. It’s Cathy here, living east of Melbourne, in the foothills of the Dandengs.
I’ve been a reader of your blog for a long time, and like Sue I don’t remember how I came across it. It’s your quirky sense of humour among many things that keeps me coming back- even though I rarely let you know I’m here 😊
    Take care

  3. I like a good lurk, I do :) But you know me, so tthat’s all right, then!

I read your remarks about shielding your identity on the Internet and agree with you entirely. If more people followed this sound advice, there would be a lot less identity theft and similar crimes. People naively give away too much information about themselves on social media and elsewhere.

Fascinating, your story of scambaiting too…

  4. Warm wishes from sunny Sweden. I’m Marie, originally from Adelaide but now living in Oxelösund in Sweden. I’ve been reading here for several years and I cannot recall how I found your blog – probably searching for Aussie blogs as I sorely miss the Aussie point of view, the humour, the banter etc. I don’t tend to comment on blogs because I don’t have one myself anymore, but I do enjoy reading intelligent points of view and really like what you write.

  5. Well! I posted a reply from my phone but it appears to have gone into the netherlands since it doesn’t appear HERE.

I’m in Fresno, California. I’ve been reading your blog off and on for a couple of years. Found it on someone else’s blogroll. I really like a blog that has a blogroll so I can try out other writers. Decided to follow you so your posts automatically appear in my WordPress Reader.

  6. I agree with the comment that I don’t lurk, I visit :-) The reason I rarely comment on the blogs I visit is that I no longer have a blog, so it seems a little unfair to have a one way conversation. I shut down my blog because of trolls – life is too short!

Anyway, I’m Marie, originally from Adelaide, but now living in a small coastal village in Sweden, about an hour’s drive south of Stockholm. I have read your blog for several years and I no longer remember how I found it, but I’m really glad I did. I miss that lovely Aussie sense of humour, the banter, the quirkiness etc so I do seek out Aussie blogs. I do enjoy reading what you write, whether it be opinions about topical things, hints about blogging, recipes, movie tips, glimpses of your life.

  7. I live in St. Louis, Missouri (in the middle of the States). Just like everyone else I can’t remember why I ended up at your blog the first time, but I keep coming back :-)

  8. I live west of Kathy G., almost on the other side of Missouri. And Snoskred? I don’t even remember anymore how we met. It’s been a long time, though.

I am a lurker and occasional commentor.

  9. Hi! I’m Patti from Pennsylvania in the USA. I enjoy visiting your blog and others on the sidebar of HighRiser. I’ve been visiting many years actually. I don’t comment because I don’t have a blog. I find all of the blogs, including yours, enjoyable and often educational. Have a great day!

  10. I’m Margaret from Washington State. I found you through Zazzy and I can’t remember how many years ago that was. I leave a comment here and there, so I’m not really a lurker. :) I do have a blog, although it can be hard to comment on for some reason.

  11. Barbara from the inner burbs of Adelaide. I can’t remember how I found your
blog (a link from something else?) but I’ve been reading it for a while. Your
comments about the US interest me because I grew up there (I moved to Oz
more than 30 years ago though). As a fellow cat lover I want more cat stories!
