This film clip may be one of the most remembered of the 80’s. It is a simple clip really but what makes it striking is the dramatic make up of the girls. It is almost Japanese Geisha style with pale faces and very red lipstick. It has been copied many times, even by Robert Palmer himself with the clip Simply Irresistible but there is only one original.

    I totally remember this video. The thing that strikes out the most both the girl’s makeup and their expressionless faces as they ‘jam’. It is a good loud song yet they seem to be un-phased by the whole thing.

    Shania Twain did a similar video for Man I feel like a woman. But this one is the best.
