There’s a lot of negative things people say about Kurt Cobain. I prefer to focus on the fact that he was truly a genius regardless of any of the negatives. Many people who are incredibly talented simply can’t handle it, we see it happen again and again. Kurt has left behind some amazing music and he inspired a generation which didn’t really have a great deal of other inspiration going on. Lithium is my favourite Nirvana song but there are so many to choose from.

“Truly a genius regardless of any of the negatives.” - Without a doubt. His music are theme-songs for an entire generation.
People questioned (and still question) his talent, and integrity as an artist - primarily due to his heavy use of herion, amongst other things… I have no doubts that there will never be a singer songwriter that can portray so much energy and provoke so many emotions with as much as 3 chords. If there is, I can’t wait to hear them
I challenge anybody to put on a Nirvana album when they alone, and not jump around the room like an absolute maniac… nevermind ;p
