Guy Sebastian won the very first series of Australian Idol. He is the original and as far as I am concerned the *only* Australian Idol. I used to watch the show back in those days. That first series was huge over here and this was my favourite performance of that series. Guy has gone on to make 4 albums since and I am still a big fan of his music.

    OMG - JUST BEAUTIFUL. This clip brings back so many memories. It really makes me feel so proud of this wonderful young man, who has gone forward in leaps and bounds to become The Soul Man of Australia. His voice never fails to thrill me. Thank you for reminding me of when it all started.

    Beautiful Voice - Beautiful Man!!

    He was a Soul singer back then… so glad he has now found his groove again as a singer of the blues and soul sound. Guy’s Memphis Album is a wonder of vocal expertise and the legandary musicians who are coming out from Memphis to tour the album with him show how much they respect our Aussie Superstar and his sublime talent just by being his backing band for the national tour in March 2008.

    Thanks for putting this up here - it has been a while since I have seen it.
