    Are they pigeons?

If they are they are very pretty ones.

I’ve told my daughter, she must never let her children know when she’s afraid, or sad. Not to say sometimes it isn’t appropriate..however, you know what I mean I think..Anyway she got it..and now she is the rock and the kids know they can come to her and be safe…Secretly sometimes when she calls to vent she shares she was scared stiff. yet acted accordingly..in control brave and the hero. Mom’s the heroes. My only questions sometimes, who is the hero for us?

    remember to call your grandma

Wow..where did all this come from?

Forest – I believe they are doves of some sort. They were in an aviary at Melbourne Zoo and I couldn’t see them on any of the name boards, so I am not sure what they were.

Dorothy – It would be nice to have a hero for us. I’m not sure who it is supposed to be. Maybe it is supposed to be us as well. ;)

    Thanks for the comments!

One of my favorites: “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the small voice at the end of the day that says ‘I will try again tomorrow’.”
