Snoskred - Life in the Country

You’ll have to actually visit the blog to see this video, by the way. Today Meva blogged about wanting to be able to speak other languages. I feel exactly the same - I wish I’d learned at least one however the one I always really wanted to be able to speak is Norwegian. Not just because my favourite group a-ha are from there, but because the language is really pretty, and it has all these nice symbols in it. Plus, the men in Norway are all descended from Vikings, so they are like.. hot. And I’ll leave that one right there..

So, Meva, remembering that you liked the other a-ha song, I just found this clip on you tube, it’s one of the songs from their latest album Analogue which is not available in Australia, that I know of. I love the lighting show as well as the pure beauty of Morten’s voice.

The lyrics are a little - strange - sorry about that - but this is probably the best song from the album (other than the fine blue line which I also love but cannot find on you tube) though I have found it is an album where songs have to grow on you - it’s not an instant fall in love with all the songs thing. And of course the fact that Morten is looking hot is just a bonus..

And I did not post the Morten snorkelling in East Timor in budgie smugglers and speaking Norwegian clip, aren’t you all very.. err.. disappointed? Oh all right then.. be patient, the swimming starts about a minute and a half into the clip..
