I got this sharing thing working.

I really don’t want to share stuff from other people’s blogs without them giving me permission. So I’m probably going to have to go around asking you all if it’s ok. That’s going to take me like forever, especially as many of you don’t seem to have an email address anywhere I can spot it.. ;)

If you give me permission it means I am going to share any posts you make, and they will appear in the little pink thingy over there —-> under stuff I’m reading. They’ll also be put on my shared google reader page, but I don’t plan on doing anything with that, I’m not going to put it in the sidebar or make links to it here.

This means people would see the title of your post over in that little pink box, and they might click on it to go and read what you’ve said. I’ve put a bunch of posts from my other blog over there, you can see how it’ll work. Click on them, try it out. See what you think. :)

So if you would be ok with this please post a comment on this post, and of course at any time you can email me to say you’re not ok with it anymore. :)

    Not sure if anything I’ve written has caught your eye, so to speak, but you’re more than welcome to share it. The written bits, not your eye. Well, you can share your eye but obviously you don’t need my permission… erm. Sorry.

    And thanks for “asking.” As for having a spottable email address, I do have a Contact form; there’s a link for same below the title area. Is that too indirect and/or non-obvious? I don’t know. Hmm…

    Thanks guys! ;) I’m going to put a folder in my google reader with your blogs in it, so I can share things you write when you write them ;) It may not always be instant because I’m not always in front of the computer, and also google reader can sometimes take some time to update. :)

    I should add that sometimes in my baits when I feel like I should write something lengthy (like for the Russian vladettes) I just copy large blocks of text from blogs (not this one though…not yet!). It makes for great out of context emails. If I shouldn’t do that then I won’t but it does work nicely. For me at least. And isn’t that what’s important?
